Home Depot discriminates against associates part time, injured,etc. get away with cutting hours to an injured associate and any available hours are cut. screw over certain employees big time. there core values are meaningless and useless they are just for show. i tried to work with them and got BS in return.

Winfield the Ops Manager is on his way out because none of the associates respect him. He also has corperate there on a daily basis just cracking the whip on him big time. He came here all big and bad, now he looks like a broken down show poney. Robbie the night ASM sleeps in the vault and the load and go trucks....when he is awake he is playing on his cell phone. The moral here is at an all time low. These people need to go soon or this store will go to hell in a hand basket. I will Like to say first that the store 1048 that is located Wilshire and Union Sucks. I was working there before and let me tell you that the managers don't act like a real managers they act like if they own you because what I know managers don't suppose to treat other employees like if their a piece of trash. There's a girl there which her name is Lucy which she is a manager and she treats employees like worst than a cloth. She tell employess that if they don't like it there's the door but you know what she doesn''t see that she is just an employee like any other one that works right there. Plus she is always on the phone. There's another manager his name is JR and you know what is so funny this guy thinks that by treating people like dogs he will get respect well he is wrong he thinks he can do anything he wants and he have the nerve to say that he is the one that signs the checks. Alot of stuff goes around that Home Depot. For some one to stay good there you have to be kissing ass to the managers and be doing everything they say. If you get along with one of them they make life your miserable. Another thing too is that some supervisors and Managers always get some one to get coffee for for them and other employees during the time they suppose to be working just because they want coffee in the morning and they don't clock out. Alot of employees work there hard but when a new person is barely getting in there to work they make them work harder then anyone and treats them like puppets and to the ones that kiss ass they let them do anything even to the point that they even smoke with when is working time.Nothing is equal there everthing is base on who you talk too and get along with.ANOTHER IMPORTANT THING THAT SOME ONE TOLD ME THAT GOES AROUND THERE IS THAT SOME NIGHT CREW GUYS DON DRUGS DURING LUNCH TIME.

how is it that victoria nigro and dee macarthur, and many others have been fired for misconduct, for almost 1 year now...and then you have yolanda charles who also does mis-conduct in the garwood home depot,nj; with loss prevention and hr involved and she gets to stay in the store and it happens this year around......how wrong is that; the girls have been at home depot for quite a few years....if anything she should have gotten the same thing....beleive me when i say i will sent a letter..

You have to realize the company does'nt read this because it generally depicts the truth. These guys are cowards and think all posts on here are funny and unbelievable. We have a District Manager in denver who gives awards to people who do nothing and are worthless, and the store manager at 1502 just goes along with it..He has the thickest set of kneepads. This guy fires people for being sick and on medical leave,,such as having cancer. R.J. the store manager fires people for making over a set amount of money..I did let AARP know about this but homedepot has them in thier pocket..with lies. This manager at 1502 is abusive, threatens people, humiliates them in front of others.I guess there is one set of company values for managers and one set for all other employees, doing the right thing does'nt apply to company managers or executives. This only means one thing, they care more about thier own pockets then anything else. Hey..Frank Blake get yourself out of your secretary and pay attention, what are you a patsy to the shareholders. How can you keep a store manager who bends and breaks the rules to fit his own agenda, is this common practice, is this how you train your managers? Do you have a backbone, you won't talk to hourly associates, is that beneath you? Oh..I forgot , that would show great leadership something this company lacks. You have not a clue do you? If you can't be consistant, and find people who are , you are just another first rate, second rate leader...We have enough of those people here. You were put here for a reason, be the leader people thought you were, but if follow the Peter Principle that does'nt matter does it! So , what are you going to do, sit behind your desk and take it , or show some guts and do whats right? Keep your head in the sand..maybe it'll all go away...right, it'll just get worse and unions are a possibility..dont forget if a union vote does accur it only takes 2thirds vote,, that means if 15 people show up for a vote, 10 vote yes, 5 vote no, thats 2thirds.. UNION. I hope this does not happen, but if it does you only have yourself to blame. I implore you do whats right, do what you know is right...No one has any respect for this manager, because he has no respect for anyone.

David Betancourt (ASM) if you are not of hispanic decent he wont give u a second look. Kellie Peters (ASM)listens to her friends when it comes to disciplining associates. Kellie Peters and Sharon Hesson (DH) are best friends they go drinking together and go to vegas. Sharon constanly talks about anybody whether it is Frank Blake and what a putz he is to the master plumbing associate who was wrote up for coming in drunk again to who ever will listen. she would sit and tell Jamie the millworks expeditor how George Page(SM) was an idiot. They would talk about any associate who had been in trouble or was having any kind of problems. Nikki Resick is a dick sucking manager wanna be. If she is not on the floor just look under the desk in the managers office. George Braun who was in electrical and moved to plumbing is forklift certified, you shouldnt drink and drive in heavy machinery etc, does that go for being high too he is a pot smoking rude male pig. Since we got a new BITCH for as manager -- I'm talking about you, Michele Thompson -- and her CUNT of a front end supervisor Randi Sinclair -- I've been written up almost weekly for bullshit! Found out that Michelle has established a quota of training audit she expects her department heads to create. I will be consulting an attorney this week to explore the possibilities of filing a harassment lawsuit against this company.
